Happy Birthday, Craig! February 3!!

I like this photo. Lanny and I had a very good day in Bondurant. We went to celebrate Craig's 33rd birthday. We haven't been able to share his birthday for quite a number of years.
Bad news, I left his birthday card at home on the counter. Good news was, I hadn't put the cash in the card -- it was still in my billfold. Whew.

We had a good lunch at the Okoboji Grill. Gabby and Joey were very well mannered (although it faltered just a bit late in the lunch when the Hofmeister's favorite subject of burping came up). Joey cleaned up his plate and Gabrielle darn near did!

The new house has come together with good, strong earth tones in the main living area and comfortable furniture. Gabrielle made sure I toured her closet -- very organized and neat. And Joey showed me his Karate mantra . . . although that isn't the proper word for it.
Yes, it was a good day. Happy birthday, Craig, on February 2! (No! No! not the 2nd; it is the 3rd!)

darned ol' blogger won't let me "edit" right now . . . or I'd have that corrected yesterday! Why won't it let me in, I wonder? It let me edit the title. Silly. Frustrating!

Yes, your Mama always has to stop and think -- 3/2 or 2/3? and if I just say February or March, I am apt to get the day wrong.

Poor Ma--a day late and a dollar short! Or, maybe it's the other way around!

Thanks for coming up it is always nice to see you and Lanny. Gabby is counting the days until Friday when we come down. Feb. 2 is okay, in fact that is when Craig got his bday gift, he couldn't wait until the 3rd. I'll have you know your dear son is SPOILED!! He did get the birthday present he wanted, PS3.

Craig must be like Chinese water torture when he wants something . . . unrelenting. We enjoyed the visit and I'm thinking Craig enjoyed his birthday!

Let me know when the kids (and Craig!) want to sell that Wi.
