Games

Maybe PaPa remembers playing cards with his Grandma Hof. I think his Grandmother played cribbage, pitch and POKER! with her grandsons.
Or maybe PaPa just likes playing cards and Sorry with the little ones. Either way PaPa is very good to play Kings in the Corner and Sorry with grandchildren. He's not so good with Old Maid or Concentration but raise up a little one 'til they are old enough for Kings in the Corner then sit back and watch them play!
PaPa is saying "are you done?"

No one ever taught me Kings in the Corner. No one ever taught me anything but Up & Down the River!

Do I sound like a cry baby? Actually, I'm glad I only know Up & Down the River!

Actually, I think Jack taught his PaPa Kings in the Corner. We always played Go Fish and UNO.

I do believe the kids and Nanc taught me Kings in the corner, and yes Kristy Up and Down the River is something I learned from the Hofmeisters. Hey, I got Spoons the game for Christmas, we're gonna have to play!!

Spoons! yes we DO need to play spoons. Kids of all ages can play. Lanny's Mom had a blast in Colorado playing spoons.
