On December 31, 2008 Miss Maddie Mae Philena discovered a loose tooth! This is her very first loose tooth and it takes up a lot of time and attention.
Can you remember your first loose tooth?
First we had to determine was it really loose. It was!
Then we had to figure out how long it might be loose and we found one of those little tooth boxes from the dentist so that Maddie would have a place to park her tooth should it fall out this every day. (It didn't and it wouldn't but it is best to be prepared!)
Then we had to call her Mama and Dad and they were so surprised! And Nana was so pleased to participate in Maddie Mae's first loose tooth!

I remember loose teeth--hated them! Especially when you'd get that bad feeling when you bit down wrong on it when you were eating something. I DO remember liking the Tooth Fairy!
I remember!! My kindergarten teacher in Creston, and for the life of me I can not remember her name, but she used to pull them for us and put them in a little treasure box. You can bet there is no way teachers today would pull a kid's tooth, they'd probably be sued as terrible as that sounds.
