This big ol' Maple tree is the last one to leaf out in the Spring and the last to lose its leaves in the Fall, usually . . . HOWEVER if the conditions are just right, our tree is just plain glorious in Autumn. It is a spendid shade of Gold.
yeah, we didn't use to rake but all the leaves end up in the driveway, then in the garage and then up the stairs! So we carry them around back and compost them back down to soil.
