I have not smoked for 37 days according to my "Get Quit" website and it told me that I have saved $74. Reckon if I hadn't had to pay for this "quit smoke" medicine I would have saved that much but as I did pay for it instead of my insurance company, I have at least saved $37 . . . and will save more, as time marches on.
There might have been a day or two on vacation that I would have smoked if I had had a cigarette but I didn't -- so I didn't! I am still clean!

At work today, my supervisor, a non-smoker now for three years, told me she thinks it takes a full year to fully leave the habit behind including all the little things that only a smoker (or other addict) would know.
One year's not bad considering you have been smoking for 40 years. Although I'm sure it seems like an eternity. Keep up the good work!!!

That is true. One year isn't bad when you think of it that way. I'll pro-rate it -- that is 1/40th or .025. That is just one tiny bit! Not even a whole unit. I'll try to remember that if/when I miss the "ol' friend".
