These girls had fun: Myah (sorry, I never know how to spell her name, Morghan and Kendra. I hope! Anyway, Morghan celebrated her birthday with family and then her two friends stayed for a slumber party. What fun! And Morghan's other Gramma made her TWO birthday cakes! And I cannot belive I have a 10-year old granddaughter! Quick, put a brick on her head!

all wrote out? nah . . .
I told Himself I'd just been posting mini videos in here . . . I must be all written out. Himself doesn't read this blog much. It makes him feel disloyal to the other one, I think -- disloyal to III. Doesn't he know that just like children, no matter how many you have you have enough love to go around! You enjoy them all.
So, anyway, after I thought about it a bit and went over and wrote in III, I decided that I'm really not all written out. I do have things to say but golly gee whiz, I just am having fun with these flim clips! I hope you are too. I'm sure I'll wear out eventually . . . and use up all the reserve videos I have saved back . . . and then I'll be back to writing boring ol' entries. So, let's enjoy these while we can!

Jack's Debut!
I didn't have one little bit of Jack on video . . . not hardly a drop . . . so last night we remedied that. What a ball of fire! Remind me next time not to wait until 8 o'clock at night after a hard day at school . . .
New ol' Nana
I went to my regular beautician yesterday and told her she could cut my hair and cut it however she was inspired . . . well she jumped up and down and clapped her hands! I didn't know if her visable excitement meant that she never gets the chance to cut "her way" . . . or couldn't she stand to look at my long stringy hair one more day? Anyway, she had fun the whole way and although I won't "pouf" it up high like she did, I still like it. Especially the back . . . I thought she did a really good job on the back. Morghan, Jack and Madeline nixed it . . . didn't like, Maddie said. LOL Himself thought I looked like a punk rocker - ha! Here it is after I combed it down a little . . .
. . . I still need more practice with these self portraits and I must have led a hilarious life because look at all those laugh lines!

Me Morghan's infomercial
Morghan Grace filmed this one year ago on her 9th birthday. At her party, in fact.
What's in a Name
Sorry, I cannot turn these videos if I take them the wrong way. This one is so cute, we'll just use it sideways!

Happy Birthday, Craig! February 3!!
I like this photo. Lanny and I had a very good day in Bondurant. We went to celebrate Craig's 33rd birthday. We haven't been able to share his birthday for quite a number of years.
Bad news, I left his birthday card at home on the counter. Good news was, I hadn't put the cash in the card -- it was still in my billfold. Whew.
We had a good lunch at the Okoboji Grill. Gabby and Joey were very well mannered (although it faltered just a bit late in the lunch when the Hofmeister's favorite subject of burping came up). Joey cleaned up his plate and Gabrielle darn near did!
The new house has come together with good, strong earth tones in the main living area and comfortable furniture. Gabrielle made sure I toured her closet -- very organized and neat. And Joey showed me his Karate mantra . . . although that isn't the proper word for it.
Yes, it was a good day. Happy birthday, Craig, on February 2! (No! No! not the 2nd; it is the 3rd!)
